Acting for Film: Advanced Level
Acting is both an art and a craft. This course will focus on craft, emphasizing the technical demands of screen acting. Students will learn to calibrate their performances specifically for the camera frame, adjusting for close-ups and wide shots. Since the camera photographs thought, students will develop an active and varying inner monologue and understand the nuances of acting, thinking and listening with the eyes.
Combined Film-Course: Camera, Grips, Lighting & Sound
Students will get an introduction to the basics of motion picture cameras and the very latest in associated technology. They will build up and breakdown a variety of cameras, learn on-set etiquette, working with camera operators and cinematographers, the principles of lighting and pulling focus, and what being an assistant camera person entails.

Students will get an introduction to the basics of motion picture cameras and the very latest in associated technology. Students will work with the other students and film short films as part of the course.
Cinematography: Grips
Students will gain a working knowledge of all elements of how to move a camera. This will involve the etiquette round the camera, how to build tracks, cranes and use of Steadicams and EasyRigs. Safety on set will also be covered.

Students will gain a working knowledge of all elements of how to use light in shooting films. This will involve the etiquette round the camera, how to do basic lighting, building a lighting setup, daylight and night shoots, and even the very nature of electricity.
Directing: Beginners Level
Understand the different roles of crew members in a film/video production team, i.e. Art director, Music director, Choreographer, Make-up artist, Costume designer, Action. Effectively communicate with crew members.
