Internships
After completion of courses with Film School Mauritius, students will understand the essential toolkit for professionalism in the Film making and producing industry, from the beginning to the screenplay play of the film and the record-keeping, marketing, and distribution process.
Students will be more at ease with filming, cameras, and lights on film sets, and also to maintain a good track of the budgeting and cost monitoring of films.
At the end of the courses, the student may also have the possibility of placement in the Industry.
Film School Mauritius shall liaise and partner with the EDB on providing access to all of the films being approved by the EDB to allow us to place interns on every film shooting in Mauritius;
Film School Mauritius shall also partner with the MFDC to place all non-applying film projects to place interns on such projects;
We shall manage inhouse these Interns, not only in the placement on industry projects but to build a pool of students/interns, which over the course of a year, can be placed on a multitude of projects and obtain workplace experience;
Such talent pool must be carefully managed by following up on and tracking and monitoring their progress. We shall ask each film project to submit to us an Internship Report, which will give us feedback for the growth of each student and Intern;
Out of this will naturally grow a new Crew and Casting Agency, once the students can prove their professionalism.
