Understand the use of Computer graphics and special effects in the digital video and film workflow. Understand and apply particle systems to videos projects. Simulate water caustics, fire, flame, dust particles from particles. Simulate rainfall, snowfall, explosion, glass shatter and other effects for video. Creation and integration of 3D objects and animation in video workflow.
Each Course or module will be two weeks in length.
THEORY
The 1st week will involve an introduction to the theory with regards each specific module.
PRACTICE
The 2nd week will involve the physical production of a 3-minute film, by students organized in teams, which will be conceived, prepared, filmed and edited by themselves.
MENTORING
- These films and students will be mentored by the Tutors;
- Students will be encouraged to build up a body of work, both during and after their courses.
- Students will be encouraged to specialize from the beginning.
- And to form creative teams where they will learn to work in groups.
