Combined Courses

The Combined course is the combination of Camera, grips, lighting, and sound. It gives students an in-depth overview of the camera department. Students will be exposed to the introduction on the basics of motion picture cameras and with the latest associated technology. They will build up and breakdown a variety of cameras, learn on-set etiquette, working with camera operators and cinematographers, the principles of lighting and pulling focus, and what being an assistant camera person entails. Students will learn the etiquette around the camera, how to build tracks, cranes, and use of Steadicams and Easy Rigs.

They will be exposed to basic lighting, building a lighting setup, daylight and night shoots, and even the very nature of electricity. Students will work with the other students and film short films as part of the course.
